Please share in the joys, the laughs, and the occasionally crazy moments of
raising three beautiful girls and a lovable dog in a house so full of life!
We just got back from our Aruba trip and while most people probably don't want to hear how great it was, we did get some nice pictures. So, if you are looking for a way to stay mentally warm, here are some pictures of our trip.
This new year we headed up north for a winter getaway. With the wood stove cranking out 76° it was plenty toasty. But eventually we headed outside.
A trip to Peninsula State Park and Cave Point were on the list this trip. At Peninsula we got a chance to feed the birds by hand. We're working on getting the chickadees at home on board with this plan now.
On the way to cave point we stopped at Clark Lake. The snow was perfect for snowman building, so we made a friendly greeter on the lake.
We've had some pretty good snow lately and with Uncle James in town a trip to the ski hill seemed like a good idea. Elsa and Nora have asked a few times in the past if they could try it out, so a family trip was in order.
All three girls did a great job trying out skis on the bunny hill. After about two hours, it was time to head home. I told Elsa it was time to take one last run and her response was perfect,"When can we come back? "
